Palm Tree Covering
Who is Standard Mental Health First Aid training for?
Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is designed for adults who want to offer initial support to another adult experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. It gives participants a structured way to notice concerns, start a conversation and encourage appropriate help. It does not replace a health professional.
Who might find it useful?
The course can suit individuals, workplaces, community organisations, volunteers and community or faith groups. Mental Health First Aid Australia describes it as suitable for adults aged 18 and over. Palm Tree Covering can help you discuss whether the course matches your group’s purpose.
What does the learning involve?
Participants learn to recognise signs that someone may need support, use the MHFA action plan to start a conversation, and understand pathways to professional and other help. The face-to-face Standard course runs over two days. We confirm the exact timetable, materials and participant requirements for the available session during your enquiry.
How do I ask about a place?
Palm Tree Covering lists individual enrolment at $365 AUD per person. Each session requires at least seven participants to operate. Enquire before paying: we confirm the next suitable date, venue and place, then send the booking terms and invoice. You can ask without sharing any personal medical details.
Ask about MHFA dates and places or enquire for your organisation.
If you need personal mental health support, speak with a qualified health professional or trusted support service. Palm Tree Covering provides education and training, not counselling, diagnosis or crisis support.
